He can play in any club/league which comes under EU(European Union) without giving up on his Indian Passport because he is a Goan(Portuguese colony till 1962).He has a special card which Portuguese rulers gave to his ancestors which makes him a special to play in any league that comes under EU.He will be treated as a European player (Quota wise)but doesn't need to surrender his passport.
This is a very very exceptional case for Goans.A complete article was shared on the same when he was being monitored by certain European clubs last year this time.
I'll only repeat what I said last on this thread, resist the urge to post the, 'something's going to happen in the next few days' comments. Next thing you know, people have to dig through 20 pages of comments to figure out that nothing has happened. Just wait for the news to get published and let us all react to the facts.
Negi's I don't deny your inside knowledge, your passion in Indian football and your interest in Brandon's future. We share your passion and interest, if not your intensity. I just think it's a waste of everyone's time to propagate rumors until they are more than rumors.
Chill. I'll come back to this thread in a few weeks to see if anything has happened.
So previously there was news that he is being followed by epl club thats turned out to be sunderland..and he have had offer by blackburn and so far trial by reading and leicster....to some extent he is really unlucky in blackburn case...anyway lets see wat hapens wid french club...gud luk 2 him 4 lusophony game..wish he perform well there and get rid of 'unproven tag' by indian and gains respect of all indian futbal fans...
So hint from ASD mgmt is that Brandon has some paperwork pending from a Euro club due to christmas break..once that is done only then some kind of announce ment will be made..we dont know yet if its paper work for a contract or a trial
if any announcement of signing is made during the timing of his stay in india then that will be the best for him to reach star level status to all football followers in india...
