Goalkeepers: Subroto Paul (Pune FC), Arindam Bhattacharya (Churchill Brothers) and Gurpreet Singh Sandhu (Indian Arrows).
Defenders: Denzil Franco and Gourmangi Singh (Both Churchill), Nirmal Chetri and Syed Rahim Nabi (both East Bengal), NS Manju (United Sikkim), Raju Gaekwad (Indian Arrows), Govin Singh (Salgaocar), Anwar and Mohan Raj (both Mohun Bagan).
Midfielders: Rakesh Masih (Mohun Bagan), Joaquim Abranches (Dempo), Baldip Singh (Salgaocar), Steven Dias (Churchill), Jagpreet Singh (JCT), Jewel Raja and Shilton D’Silva (both Indian Arrows).
Baljit Sing is playing very consistently in I league & scored in AFC cup. Today also he scored a nice goal against JCT. Unfortunately he is not in the squad. Also player like Gilberto, Zakeer ignored once again.
The stage is set...looks like Sushil will start now with Sunil <!-- s:roll: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_rolleyes.gif" alt=":roll:" title="Rolling Eyes" /><!-- s:roll: -->
They have so many abroad players..are they in Pakistan football team for a while or have just joined for this competition? Is the recent Pakistan bad performances with these players?
Please tell me how good the the Turkeministan team...are they having abroad players..
pakistan had just two overseas players in olympic qualifiers and they left the team after feeling ill treated..however the senior team is much better and has 5-7 european based playes...only 3 of them are really good enough..the best being zesh rehman and adnan..they have a good defence and mid but poor strikers..
