As per some Spanish & Italian reports, Messi signed a 2 deal with an option for 3rd year. He is going to earn 100 million euros (75m Salary + 25m joining bonus) + sponsporship deals.
If Mbappe stays, they will be the best attack in Champions league ( Messi, Neymar & Mbappe). Never thought I would see Messi & Ramos in same team.
Some of my own feelings about Messi captured in a nutshell in this ESPN article...Best of luck, gentle genius, wherever you play!! (Personally, I love him best in an Argentina jersey, being a fan of the Argentina NT )
I think it's arguable that he's the best footballer the sport has ever produced. He is not -- I repeat not -- to be defined by his astronomical wages, his famous "burofax" stating he wanted to leave a year ago, nor his stats, nor even his trophies, and certainly not by any false rumour that the upper regions of the club have danced to his tune in recent seasons.
We've been watching joy in boots. We've been gifted 16 beautiful years with a guy who can make our working day -- heck, our working week -- seem bearable. Someone who can make us smile, swear in astonishment, and shuck off our cares and woes. (Temporarily, at least.)
I don't remember another guy, in our lifetimes, who has so unified people, fans of other clubs included, in the expression "I must see that guy play... I have to watch him" whether on TV, in documentaries, in the middle of the night, in person or at great cost.
If you love football and you didn't feel for him as he was overcome with emotion on Sunday, after the abundant genius he has shared with us, then you should perhaps choose a new sport to follow.
@indian_gooner wanna hear a fan's perspective. do you want Areta to continue as Arsenal's manager or someone new? like Arsenal is in shambles rn and their next game is versus Manchester City lmao.

i would like to give arteta atleast 2 more years. anyways we are not competing for the title race. finishing in top 4 and qualyfying for CL would be great for arteta. if he fails, then it is time for him to leave.
