He stopped the match for a 5 minute water break but failed to stop
his watch. So his watch run to 90 while the actual time was 85 that’s
why he ended the match on the 85th minute. He got confused afterwards so
he thought playing 4 minutes (making 89th minute) was an added time
20 minutes after the match ended, he asked both teams to get back on the pitch to play stoppage time, while the Mali coach was giving his post match interview. The Mali players returned to the pitch, but the Tunisians were already in their recovery ice baths, and the match was concluded again. What a farce.

ISL referee’s will be relieved to know that there are worse than them.
@Boalha Comoros were able to assemble their France born footballers for this tournament. World cup qualifiers and in Africa Cup of Nations, many countries like Comoros look a completely different side then say Friendlies or Indian Ocean games where they bring local players
That explains it. I guess the African Nations Championship, the other pan-African tournament organised by CAF, gives a better idea of the true strength of domestic players.

He's either injured or got Covid. I don't see any other explanation for his absence.

Cameroon just beat them 2-1
Comoros were playing with 10 men and a makeshift goalkeeper
In other match, Gambia continued their wonder run by reaching QF as they defeated Guinea 1-0
