The key player has to be Eriksen for Spurs. He is most creative outlet for them. Their major problem being Kane is out of form.
But I loved their midfield. Everyone is at equal level and everyone is a match winner. I expect them to be top 5 this season. Might even be top 4 if Chelsea continues their awful form.
They might but epl is long business and spurs will have to be consistent. They potentially have a great squad for future with majority being within 22-23 bracket!
Spurs have a good manager and he is finally starting get them playing and getting results. Their biggest hindrance has been Daniel Levy, and whether they are to make a step up or not will be dependent on Levy, who will sell their best player for premiums happily and rebuild again.
They also have a decent squad; the likes of Dembele (a failed forward), Carroll, Njie, Chadli, Townsend, Mason, Bentaleb, Rose, Davies, Walker, Trippier are all decent but nothing special. Much will depend on whether they can keep hold of Eriksen (who has in the past freely admitted to wanting to move to Spain with his specific destination changing day to day, and this was the reason why Liverpool ended their pursuit of him when he was at Ajax), Lloris, Kane and Verthonghen. Alli (a long term Liverpool target and a Liverpool fan, but they opted for Emre Can) has started well, but it is too early to say how he will progress and Lamela has only started showing what he is all about. Heung-Min Son is an excellent player and he would have been a better replacement for Suarez at LFC than Balotelli, but Spurs have got him now. Dier is looking good now though he is a CB.
The big two Spanish clubs always get the players they want. You know how they are run. They will sign big players to appease the fans and just for the heck of it. Silva and Aguero are the two players they have had an interest in for a long time now.
