My personal choice would be Ancelotti too; he brings a sense of calm to the clubs he goes, can handle the big egos (of which there are none at LFC anyway bar Sturridge), and is very pragmatic. He doesn't want to be actively involved in payer recruitment either and will work well with what is given to him. He has this ability to demand respect without really asking for it actively from his players and maybe the listless Liverpool players could use this now. But the people who make the call want Klopp (who has in the past turned down Man City and Chelsea and will be contacted by Bayern soon because of LFC's interest).
Liverpool's defense is as shambolic as it can get and Rodgers has made it worse in his reign. Mignolet is a nice guy but a poor 'keeper. He is a good shot-stopper but he has not learned to kick a ball in 3 years at LFC (that's how bad LFC's goalkeeping coach Achterberg was). They should have sold him in the summer instead of buying a second choice who will be happy to sit on the bench (Bogdan). Kolo Toure is now past it and should be let go when his contract expires next summer. The big problems are the two central defenders - Skrtel and Lovren, both of whom are average. It is ill-advised to sell multiple main players from central positions together, so maybe Skrtel can be kept on as a back-up though he will not agree to this. Lovren is hopeless, and his nickname at merseyside (The Fraud) is apt. Sakho has concentration problems but this is something that can be worked with. Young Joe Gomez looks a top talent, but he will need a lot of work to be ready for the PL. The two first choice full backs - Moreno and Clyne are good. Flanagan will stay as a back up and with Gomez able to cover, they should only need 1 first choice GK to replace Mignolet and 2 centre backs to replace Toure and Lovren.
Oh nice! Well in that case, I heard it is an amazing city with a lot of things to do, what those things are I don't exactly know. Sporting wise it is massive for American football with the Indianapolis Colts being giant there. Their basketball team is also decent (Pacers). Never been there and its I believe 10 hours away from me via car.
Off topic I know, but cheers man! Appreciate your insight. Can't say I am a particularly big fan of American football or basketball, but plenty of things to do sounds encouraging. Might head out to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway if I can.
@Munna thanks man. I will stick to football for now bro though I follow F1 occasionally.
And quick update on the situation at LFC, Klopp is almost done. Like I said before, he is expected to sign before the weekend. FSG want Top 4 THIS season.
