I am fearing the worst. Prayag United may not participate in this I-league. They are running from pillar to post to get sponsorship and even approached some ministers but to no avail.
Look on the bright side (There is none but still). We will have an even number of teams again!<div><br></div><div>But seriously, for Prayag, if they can't find a sponsor or register players and are in such financial unrest at this moment in time I would think it is better for them to just take a 1 year sabbatical and re-launch in a year.</div><div><br></div><div>Tell the players and have them sign for other clubs. Re-think the model of the club, professionalize. Move to a different area where you can gain fans and just relaunch with a new name and new identity.</div><div><br></div><div>Probably the best option at this point.</div>

<br><div><br></div><div>This will reduce number of teams</div><div>I-League should expand to 20 teams league</div><div>and let them relegate we even have lot of second division team to replace them next year </div>

<br><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>Eh... this is just dumb... straight up dumb. </div>
Think about future man. What will happen next year, a year after that? Get a steady business model and sponsors. Chit Fund and Charity are not stable pathways.<br>
