Prayag might sell out to IMG-R unless they get some sponsors fast...

<br><div><br></div><div>oh f***, you mean they will form IMG-R league team? that would be the most ironical thing ever! Nabab Bhattacharya has been giving anti IMG-R updates for long time</div>

<br><div style="font-weight: normal;"><br></div><div style="font-weight: normal;">It was a joke. Although it would seem like an easy way for IMG-Reliance to get their first franchise. Take advantage of United SC's poor financial run and force them to switch alliances from I-League (and IPFCA) to the IMG-Reliance League. </div><div style="font-weight: normal;"><br></div><div style="font-weight: normal;">Then from there, transform United SC into Bengal United SC, and thus the first franchise in league history. It would then become an even better decision because all the former Prayag United players (including Ranti Martins) would be with IMG-Reliance automatically and thus fulfilling the "player quota" IMG-Reliance were looking to fill up.</div><div style="font-weight: normal;"><br></div><div style="font-weight: normal;">Now of course, this is not a realistic way of it panning out. You would still need to find someone/a company willing to invest in the franchise and then slowly but surely get around 5-7 more investors/groups. And then a lot of other things would need to happen like getting those Prayag players to sign with IMG-Reliance, getting a proper ground ready on time, marketing (they would still be competing with East Bengal and Mohun Bagan), and many other things. </div><div style="font-weight: normal;"><br></div><div style="font-weight: normal;">So the chances of this actually happening I would say is 50%. Depends on how desperate United SC is to get a sponsor and how desperate IMG-Reliance is to excel their plan of creating a new league is. Also, keep in mind that if IMG-Reliance were to sway United SC then that would send a message to IPFCA, seeing one of the big clubs switching alliances.</div><div style="font-weight: normal;"><br></div><div><b>Note: </b>This is just me thinking outside the box here. I am not saying that this is what I want nor am I saying that this is what will happen or what could happen. Again, I am just thinking outside the box using what I know from IMG-Reliances standpoint and the IPFCA's standpoint. </div>

<br><div><br></div><div>if Nabab can't find money to pay his players, rather than risk losing them to another club, he might take a back door sponsorship from IMG-R for his team and then allow his player to play in the IMG-R league.</div><div><br></div><div>He's off loaded his most expensive "flops" like Gouramangi and Lester already as well as the enigma that is Kayne Vincent, but he still has a very hefty wage bill with Ranty, Lalkamal, Zakeer , etc.</div>
So, after Eveready, Chirag United and Prayag United we are having IMG-Reliance United now. Such a whore of a club (sorry but that is the most respectable analogy I could come up with)

Pailan Arrows, Sikkim United, ONGC, Air India can join Prayag United for IMG League. IMG can also revive dead horses like JCT, Mahindra United and Viva Kerala. <br> :P
