I am watching India womens hockey for a long long time - since 1998. 2002 Commonweath I have seen. Even around 2010 team was better. Major decline came under that Australian coach and now. Playing style level has gone down massively. Coach Kaushik was better.
Asia Cup Group A preview: Will powerhouse Iran sweep Jordan, Syria and India?
India
Players to Watch: It's all about the big three
for India. In their steady rise these past several years, the trio of
Vishesh Bhriguvanshi, Amritpal Singh and Amjyot Singh have propelled
India to new heights. The versatility of those three players makes this
squad such a challenge to defeat, but the flipside is if those three
guys have an off night, India have nearly nothing else in their back
pockets.
Outlook: One x-factor here is the return of NBA
draftee Satnam Singh, who has finally rejoined the national squad after
toiling to in the States. With him, India may have the final piece of
the puzzle to potentially advance further than they ever have, but
that's just on paper. In reality, the big question is this - do India
have an extra gear or have they plateaued? They have great size, but do
they have the depth to defeat three formidable WABA teams in their group
in order to have a clear shot at making it back to the Quarter-Final?
India have best generation of players right now. Amjyot Singh is probably the best ever Indian basketball player and will play a key role for India. Can they finish in top and upset big teams once again ??
not big boxing fan but thought that foreign fighter who played Vijender was cheated By Judges..... clearly deserved to win....... boxing has been always prone to such stuffs
