Thought it will be an awesome experience... We are not ready yet and would have being thrashed and this season the Copa America format is different with 6 teams in each group (earlier 4 teams in each group) and we would have lost all 5 games. One way , not participating is good for us as it may demoralize the players..
Starting from 1993, CONMEBOL invited atleast 2 teams for every Copa America and Mexican NT played 10 times. Let's hope we will get chance in next edition.

As per the article, Australia Football federation suggested our NT name to CONMEBOL . They haven't invited us to Copa America
