From what your saying it seems that Patel and IMG-Reliance are really trying to push for the new IMG-League by making it seem like a necessity. That we can not survive or improve without it.
Yep, these are the minds running Indian football. *Goes to cry in the corner*.

Just passed by Cooperage ground. Very disappointed with what I saw.
Firstly the positives :
The artificial turf is in place and almost similar to Duler.
The floodlights have been installed. But cant confirm whether they are in working order.
Now the negatives:
The stands are nowhere to be seen. Even the old stands are demolished. Only the metal bars for the structure are seen thrown around.
The place is so dirty and littered with all debris, garbage, stones and is a pitty sight. Apart from the turf, rest all is shit.
The worst part now is that there is no work going on and not a single worker in sight. So basically its a lethargic attitude towards the work.
Lastly, some Manchester United soccer school training is going on for kids. The hoarding claims" Learn it the United way". My foot, united way. Bloody just by kicking the ball at evening time nobody is going anywhere. Basically these guys are just doing timepass. Most of the children cant even kick the ball and they are already in their teens. What United way are they going to follow this late.
Could not take pictures as my cell battery gave me dhoka. Thats it. Mumbai may see football after two more years.

Budget cap coming in the next season. AIFF will discuss this issue with the club on 21st & 22nd feb.
What AIFF want to implement is that 25% of total budget of a club have to be given to AIFF youth program and rest 75% can be used as player salary.
So the days of 3rd class african players in I-league is coming back or should i say the days of 3rd class african players in I-league is not ending in a hurrey.
Well, what did you expect? A massive 75% cause? Personally I dont like this "Percentage" salary cap. I would have rather done a "Each team can only spend ??? amount on player salaries and they must pay ??? amount to the AIFF for a season entry fee".
I mean with the "percentage" salary cap it does not really help the teams. United Sikkim for example would be in trouble. What is their budget? Surely 25% of it gone would already put them in a financial mess.
Also how would the AIFF know if they are really getting 25% of the budget. Couldn't the team just add in the extra money once they pay the AIFF.
There is just more specifications that need to be made here.
