Australia is struggling to qualify for world cup. They drew with Oman in Australia and are 6 points short of Japan. Need to be at their best to qualify as Iraq,Jordan and Oman looks threatening!!
Australia's problem is the underestimate these teams. As soon as they went down 2-0 they realized "Oh shit, we are playing a World Cup qualifier." and scored 2 goals to salvage a 2-2 at home.
And this is a problem in every match. Against the Jordans, the Omans Australia never takes them seriously and the result is negative for the Aussie's. Yet when they play against Japan or even heavy weights like Argentina they can hold on a draw them or lose by only 1 goal or even win.
If Holger (Aussie coach) can sort out that defense and instill some hunger in his players the Aussie's will make it but if they cant then it will be tough.

Iran is very inconsistent and it seems like they dont have the players they used before,also their league is going behind in Asia they seriously need to come over from the regime oriented Football authorities to move forward and get back to that "Top team of Asia Tag".
But Im happy to see the Uzbek's going to far,I think they'll make it.They are a great example for developing countries like us.
