Going by world cup values (i.e representation of teams across world), we should also implement the same in Asia Cup..Cause not all regions get represented in the highest Asian championships..not only will it help improve the profile of under developed nations (which never find representations), but also improve representations and success..
even though asia has under performed in this tournament, still they have come a long way from the yester years of world cup..and its because they could find representation in the highest stage even though probably European and south americans could have taken almost all places if required (unless there was a quota system)
