Being a first time coach for Blackpool and Blackburn got to mean something other than "his english and he his going to play long ball". He is young not someone who was bought up on 70's english hard nose football, ( i think anyway).

<br><div><br></div><div>You never know. I am just going with his record as an actual coach and not some assistant for a manager who's record is not so good himself.</div><div><br></div><div>Plus the 80s and 90s were not so much different from the 70s.</div>
Appleton was defensive minded but wouldn't call his style "long ball". West wood would probably take a similar approach as he has spend most of his coaching career under Appleton. <div><br></div><div>I will not pass my judgement on him till I see how the team shapes up, the 4 foreigners they manage to get(3 assuming Jacobs takes up one slot) and how they play together as a team.</div><div><br></div><div>Anyways, I will be cheering for Bangalore FC (till the official name is announced) as that my home town. </div>
<p>Bangalore signed three players, Thoi Singh(MF) from Mumbai Tigers, Keegan Pereira(LB) from Salgaocar, Bruno Colaco(GK) from Sporting Goa.</p><p>Source : JSW Bangalore Wikipedia page.</p>
<p>Bangalore signed two more players Gurjet Singh(DF) and Shankar (DF)</p><p>Shankar (local boy) said "This is a great opportunity for a youngster like me and I am going to
give it everything. It’s nice to see football come to Bangalore in a big
way and to be able to play a part in it is exciting for me"</p><p> </p>
