    Thanks Prretam for the info.

I fully agree that AIFF can take a cue and act accordingly. But the question is...... the lot consisting of PP, KD, SD etc. are totally unprofessional themselves and have no idea about running a National Football Federation. The way the National League (later I League) is conducted proves their worthlessness. But better senses may prevail sooner than later and we may have a person who by heart wiil try to improve Indian Football. We live for that Day... till then the "PP-KD-SD Circus" Clowns will make us mad.

Can anybody tell whether yesterday's Dempo - Salgaocar match was telecast live or not, because I was under the impression that the game was not shown live but read in a bengali daily today that Sanjay Sen saw the match & asked his players to see also to counter the Dempo threat!!!

Aiff is partly dedicated to improve the standard of footbal...but it seems they lack the idea and don't have right people at right position....it wud be nice if former players like i.m vijayan, jo paul ancheri , bruno shud get involved in AIFF commitee...baichung is trying his part but not getting fruitful result and enough support...akela chana bhaad nai bhood sakta...

Preetam, of course AIFF is partly dedicated to improve the standard of football, but they are responsible for improving the System as well. Nobody can come from out side and improve our rotten system which is based on age old theories or so to say no theories. Yes.. they need right man at the right place. Politicians for Football and vice verca will bring no improvement. Still we the common football lovers keep on hoping that some day the things will change.. but when that some day will come ???

I don't think ex-players do not have the capacities to improve Indian football --- partly because (with due apologies) since they come from lower middle class background, they do not have that world view which is needed; and partly they also are prone to groupism and petty politics. Both these thrive in a culture of sham-amateurism and ad hoc-ism.

Indian Football needs people with good management skills and education; and people who have seen and traveled a lot and can digest and emulate what they have seen/ learnt. They can be imported from industry at large if needed.

IF THE 4TH POINT IS APPLIED...then 70% of foreigners will be outsed at once....we need players like wolfe ,lagos..i'm saying this bcoz at some point they represented their country in senior level and it satisfies 4th point....and in club as pointed by @Deb_Ban we do need educated coaches and management...most of indian coaches don't have AFC licence and every single people in mgmt are shit..they shud give free hand to coaches and then performance appraisal at the end of season....but ex-footballer had came across with these kind of thing..these people if put into mgmt things will improve ,if not at greater extent.....

Clubs of Malaysia are worse then India in AFC Cup. After these rules, I believe why it is so.
