So here we have the two finalists of 2013 SAFF Championship, India and Afganistan, as it was in 11 December 2011 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi in the 2011 SAFF Championship Final.

The 2nd SAFF Championship Final between India and Afganistan is getting played exactly 21 months and aprox. 1045 Kms apart.

Nirmal Chettri , Nabi , Sunil Chettri , Jeje , Karanjit Singh, Gouramangi Singh & Jewel Raja Sheikh are the only player who were part of that Final in 2011 and they are part of 2013 Final too.

Afghanistan are known to come hard in the initial 20 mins..specially since their entire team has revenge on their mind and are still hurting from that final defeat..may the best team win..India very well has the potential to win...Wim needs to do some proper planning now in order to outhink his opponents and manage his team of yellow cards and suspended players

who will replace the defensive roles of Lenny and Mehtab? I am more worried by this, they may not always look good but these guys do a lot of the 'dirty' job to take the load from defenders...<div><br></div><div>jewel, alwyn cant do the defensive work</div>

it might be Nabi has to take one of the midfield wing positions and Mohanraj takes his famous position! Arata moving to centre...but who will be the other CM? Jewel?

My 8th sence says that Raju will take one of Lenny and Mehtab's place and Jewel the other one.

I think Raju's Job will be just to be a nuisance for Afgan attackers , break up their play and that about it.
