They have no excuse to postpone this one! Also this week we have the Goan derby with Salgaocar and Dempo taking each other on. Who knows. There might be a very bad weather in Shilong, like a snow storm or no ambulences available in Shilong and this match too gets postponed.

That would be typical, wouldn't it. However I would guess that Falopa would want some games in the I-League now just to keep the fitness levels up in the team.

Can East Bengal with a somewhat depleted squad get full points from a strong Shilong Lajong team?

I feel even with a depleted squad we still have enough quality to get 3 points.

Mehtab , Soumik Dey , Naoba Singh , Arnab Mondal , Gurpreet Singh (all 'rested') and Suoeka (injury)

Not bad. Attack should be strong which is, to me, Lajong's strongest area. East Bengal should be able to get a win out of this.
