@debarghya89 Do you really think his 0% chance of playing in the EPL would make him want to come to India? We don't even know if money would do it. Also, he is probably still under contract!
@goalkeeper He managed to score 11 goals in the 2011-12 season. That to in over 40 games. Before that season he barely played any games other than in 2008-09 and back. If it was not for Salgaocar he would probably have been a bench option in League Two or a regular in the Conference. Curtis Osano was definetly going back to the Conference while Johnson was more luck than anything else.
Right now I think we all need to sit back and calm down. We all think now that because of the signings of guys like Duffy, Johnson, and Osano, as well as signings in Thailand like Jay Bothroyd or Jay Simpson for $80,000 a month, and the success of Bengaluru FC that we can automatically sign top-scorers and player of the years from the League Two!!!
german and Spaniards from there respective countries 2nd div will come for salary of 200,000 usd per year and they are more skilfull than Englishmen ,,......if indian clubs need to perform better against south Korean japnese clubs they need skill and Spaniards and germans are much better though they will take sme months to adapt but with help of trainers which bfc and scg have they can adapt a bit quick and I-league is starting in December so there is a lot of time to get adapted
Costa Rica and England are different though. A player in the League Two probably makes the same as a 1st tier guy in Costa Rica. Some players there still need a second job.
