@7negi, the organisers of Sikkim Gold Cup were to pay MB for transport and accommodation, so even if their accounts are frozen, they could very much participate in the tourney (particularly when IMGR are paying them for their players they have taken -- to the tune of Rs 50 Lakhs I think).
They are doing this drama partly to garner public support against CBI and partly to hoodwink the players to deprive their salary (CBI gives two hoots for these kind of drama).

Alcohol companies have restriction on their advertisements in India-thats why they look at all limited avenues available to them. Tobacco companies have even little scope. If they leave Sports (Diageo), where will they go especially now when competition is fierce in Indian Alcohol market.
@Ashlesh Well it is not about I-League-Local league and local market gets the recognition for Brand. Mohun Bagan Team visited Nepal for a Friendly and all trip sponsored by UB because that brand and market in Nepal is important. Kingfisher has sponsored Goa Professional league in the past also.
