What we need is more scholarships in these academies for talented young players. But I still believe Tata Football Academy will remain the best in India.
Tata Football Academy should reduce their age limit. I think that right now their admit players of 15 years age. They should catch them younger - try for 12-13.
@munna219777 I have heard of children start playing tactical football at the age of 6 or 7 in european countries. They become good professional football players once they reach the age of 15.
I mean Tata is a rich company and has the necessary resources. I think they should train them at the age of 6.
There is a lot more to it than just teaching kids tactical football at the age of 6 or 7. A whole lot more. If it was just that then everybody would be doing it and places like the US, China, and Japan would be world-powers by now.
as of now,its not possible in india to teach kid from age 6...in that age parents are more concerned with their studies.....when children starting to understand after say 10-12 years....and if they are curious then parents are letting them gio that too reluctantly and if they are persistent...
@preetam I was thinking whether parents from poor background who are unable to pay for their children's education will enroll them in a football academy (possibly at the age of 6) at free of cost. Education and football will go hand-in-hand. I am sure we will find Messi-like player somewhere in remote part of India. Money is a big factor here.
