Good article. Since the mushrooming of so many TV channels, the quality of speakers, presenters, commentators have gone down. It looks like English or Hindi is pretty much their third language. Not every ex-player is Richie Benaud. People like Chima Okerie can blabber few words-he will not get chance to do commentary even in Nigeria. Just because a person is ex-player, it should not be the only criteria to select them as commentator. Basic Diction or elocution is missing. This is result of poor if any training.
