yes he could well be a good signing as he know the city so adjusting wont be an issue... and also signing the likes of taisuke kattimani gives a good stability at midfield which could help team be more positive unlike past hopefully..
Relegation candidates : * Shillong Lajong FC : have major financial troubles & are desperate to offload top wage earners / potential top transfer fee earners. Have transfer listed Milan Singh, Robin Gurung , David N'Gaite & TP Rehenesh !! Banking on local youth who won SPL to keep them afloat. Foreigner's could be the Atletico Paranense boys given the Anglian connection. *SCdeGoa : unless they get in a coach like Trevor Morgan. .they will have trouble with Alex Alvares having to handle the eho and mood swings of Jerry Boimah Karpeh, Anthony Wolfe and Kalu Ogba Nnanna. ..you will have a case of the lunatics running the asylum ! Also desperately need to improve the back line and GK. * Royal Wahingdoh FC : 2 good signings in Denzil Theobald & Kim...but retaining Bowary Beekay and the Nigerian CB are a big mistake. The back line and GK are also extremely poor.
I will put Bharat FC also on the Relegation List. Its not that easy to start on the league all of a sudden. Why are they not playing in Federation Cup?
I didn't put KBFC on the relegation list for the obvious reason ....direct entry teams are immune from relegation for the 1st 3 years !!
Secondly they cant sot amd watch ..get fit while others have a congested Fed Cup.
They also have a bye in the 1st week of I-league. .so plenty of time to sfout and prepare.
They haven't signed well so far...except the backroom staff and foreigner's. ..i haven't been too impressed. But will end up with a more balanced team than Mohun Bagan !!
h. One team standing last in the I-League will be demoted to the Second Division. This rule shall however not apply to Bengaluru FC and Kalyani FC.
NB: Bengaluru FC and Kalyani FC shall be immune from relegation. Team to be relegated will be considered by excluding the Bengaluru FC and Kalyani FC from the points table.
