There should be a national debate by Arnab Goswami (newshour) on alarming decline of Indian football. They should launch an investigation against AIFF and its technical committee.

What will happen if Bhutan draws against China? Bhutan has a small amateur league which are not comparable to I-league or ISL in any way.

Really can't figure out the reason for such a pathetic
display from our team.  Even though we don’t
have much time for preparation we are playing after a just concluded highly
competitive I league . So lack of match experience can't be an excuse here ,
Also few of them played in AFC knockout league as well.  We have a coach who has taken a poor African
country to the 68th rank in a short span . If he can do it for a nation who is
lacking big time in infrastructure and other footballing facts why he can't do
the same for India ??  May be he need
time , But till when ?  By playing the seniors
we can't produce any result. In that case we should rethink our policy and try
to include maximum youngsters in the national team.  I am sure the result won't be worse than this
and on positive note they will get big exposure in the younger ages and will be
benefit them while playing in their peak time without any fear. If you say ' no' nothing will be happen , But if you dare to take some risk now that will be a
    big YES for the future.

Maybe India is not the saddest team.. Malaysia is having a disaster on their home soil against Palestine.. 0-6 , after they drew Timor Leste a few days ago. And yet they haven't even met top 2 teams of their group, UAE and Saudi Arabia.

Meanwhile, Turkmenistan is 10 mins away from managing a draw against Iran.

We are a disgrace to the footballing world as of now. Even Turkmenistan is holding Iran.
Maybe we need time to test out the team. I agree they lack match exp. But, why us everytime. Every world cup qualifier, a coach comes in and says this is the team of future, give us some time and then vanishes away. WTF is this bullshit. We are declining. Just when support for Indian team was highest for any world cup qualifier ever(social media), we present the fans a new ray of hope. But, what happens in the end is this. I know they need to know the realities of Indian football. But, we ain't this BAD.

Turkmens have held Iran to a 1-1 draw...just goes to show what good prep + home advantage on one hand and taking it easy on the other does.

Our attitude  sucked in both matches. We needed a half time talk to realize.. "Oh Shit"

what if Guam are actually good..am sure Iran took Turks easy and paid the penalty..happiest teams would be Guam and Oman..we are up against 4 very good teams here and were taking our 3rd place for granted with a newly assembled team
