Yup... But now can someone explain me how the points for the rankings be counted since each afc asian cup qualifiers, afc asian cup, World cup qualifiers have a different value....

Asian World Cup Qualifier of 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia. There are total of 40 teams participating in the tournament.

Groups of the tournament :

Group A – Oman, Palestine, Tajikistan, Malaysia and Laos

Group B – Jordan, Vietnam, Philippines, Kajekistan and Bangladesh

Group C – South Korea, Bahrain, Turkmenistan, Hong Kong, and Yeman

Group D – Japan, Saudi Arabia, Maldives, India and Chinese Taipei

Group E – Iran, Qatar, Afghanistan, Singapore and Guam

Group F – Australia, Kuwait, Syria, Indonesia and Pakistan

Group G – U.A.E, Chine, North Korea, Thailand and Sri Lanka

Group H - Nepal, Uzbekistan, Iraq, Lebanon and Myanmar.

12 out of these 40 will go through to the next round (2 from each group) and also play Asia Cup.

Two from each group mean 16 teams to next round, but you say 12 teams ...? Also, Asian Cup will be a sixteen team affair?

Doesn't Kazakhstan play in Europe (under UEFA)?
