@7negi You forgot to notice the name of our brother. Anyways, kidding bro @dreamer don't mind. we all are dreamers, dreaming to see India in WC one day
1) Pune, Chennai, Trivandrum stadiums are AFC Recognised to host Asia Qualifiers there. These venues are not related to U-17 World Cup. Why cant they choose anyone of them?
2) There is no such FIFA rule which prohibits the usage of the venues in June just because an event (FIFA U-17 World Cup) is being organised in October. FIFA does not lock up these stadiums 5 months in advance. They can organise Honey Singh Night or Ramdev Yoga Shivir there if they want. in Delhi JLN Stadium in June.
3) Is there any vested interest in organising this crucial match in Bengaluru? They are harming the chances of India as we are giving away the heat, climate, altitude, humidity advantage which every sensible Host country employ.
On the other hand, it is heartening to see Mumbai as venue for Camp as well as Friendlies. Good personal equation between Aaditya Thackeray (Host MDFA) and Stephen Constantine, compact venue, nice crowd support.
Chennai pitch is in a terrible condition and no one would come to watch the match in Pune.TVM stadium is top class but KCA has leased out the stadium . The authorities of the stadium were keen to use the stadium for football matches but you know how KFA works, they fucked up.
dont worry about Pune Crowd, we had more attendance to India vs Nepal match than what India vs Laos match had at guwahati or India vs Turkmenistan at kerala(WCQ)..
I don't want to argue with that though I can give u some reasons like free tickets blah blah blah etc but that's not the point. Bengaluru and Mumbai are better venues than Pune in terms of location and support.
I have no interest in arguing over point if any venue is better than other..
may be avoid statements like" no one would come to watch the match in Pune", if we could go mumbai for Puerto rico match then we can gather decent support in pune irrespective of tickets are free or not..
