Dhanapal, Robin, Narzary should be there in national team. Lyngdow,Rowling, Issac and Pritam not deserved based on their previous performance. Brandon Fernandes and Bawant ,their exclusion is an utter foolishness of this decade.
Great article!! Provides statistical data..number of minutes of Lobo,Setiyasen, Jacki etc what a joke..we should continue this bashing of SC openly..not sure if this would be featured on goal.com as I think they are influenced by AIFF
The selected players are they from a particular agency? What about those who missed out? It will also be interesting to see who were put in the squad just for the sake of it as they would be axed eventually..also Issac still being punished by AIFF?
According to our close sources the scheduled friendly between India and Lebanon, which was to be played at the Andheri Sports Complex in Mumbai on 7 June, has been cancelled. The friendly has been removed from FIFA's website.
The reasoning behind this is due to certain Lebanese players having issues with receiving a visa for travel for their travel to India.
Stephen Constantine, last week while on a show called C2K Extra Time, revealed that the friendly between India and Lebanon might not happen. The India head coach said that Lebanon had players all across Europe and that it was difficult for them to obtain visas. He also revealed that India could play a different side if the Lebanon match was cancelled.
The All India Football Federation, in their recent press release about the squad for the upcoming AFC Asian Cup qualifier, did not mention the friendly which would have occurred before India's qualifier.
