So... this is weird. According to this FIFA article Chencho Gyeltshen (not the former Federation Cup guy) has signed with Buriram United. He even has pictures from January of him training with the club but... I don't get it. They already have their foreign spots filled up and if they had an open spot this is the club that can sign a Spanish Segunda Division guy so why go for a Bhutan international... just complexing.
Everywhere else says 1990 but another source (newspaper article) says May 1996 so ya... kinda hard to make any switches. Need to decide which sources are correct.
The guy was a part of their 2011 SAFF Cup team... he would be 15 years old.
The Draw for Second Round will be taken on 14th April at AFC House, Kuala Lumpur. In Second Round, there will be 5 teams in each Group and thus we will have 4 Home and 4 Away games. 11th June 2015 to 29th March 2016
Now Bhutan goes to Second Round. Imagine a high profile team like Japan or Australia coming to Bhutan if they are in the same Group for Second Round. Both Bhutan and East Timor got valuable FIFA points.
