coming back to India may turn out to be the biggest mistake of his career. One reason India is lagging behind in football is that our players dont have the balls to play abroad..this guy did it and now shouldnt look back
It could be good, it could be not. Right now Gurpreet doesn't really have anything to go on. He has barely played any games at all with Stabaek and when he has he hasn't put in the best performances and being the #1 for India won't get you far. Coming back to India, being the #1 and getting constant minutes in the ISL may be what Gurpreet needs. After a season he could try his luck back in Europe or even somewhere else (still think Indians would be well served in the US's USL)
@ Ashwin ... how can we say he is not learning... he is young and can wait one more year ... regarding money ... it's important... but who knows his destiny might be in top 10 european leagues
Agree with @ashindia. He might have the potential to one day maybe play in Belgium or even smaller leagues like in Austria or even in Norway but the fact of the matter right now is that he can't even get game time in Norway and that isn't even top 20 in Europe.

he better look for new deal or else try other clubs in Norway... He is just 25 and for a goalkeeper.. it is ok to stay back...
For first team play, he can try for a loan deal with ISL/I-League clubs...
