Yes it is. Considering he is in Delhi and is right in a way. These are the Bagan officials you are protesting against. Can't get a message to them with 500-600 people. Thats a minority of the overall fan base of Mohun Bagan.

everyday hundreds of ppl are gathering either outside club house, or now in streets...dont expect everyone to leave all their work and everyday join...no. of of protests going on in India is getting too high..and yes, this is saturday, not holiday for everyone as in West....

There are tons of angles which one has to take into consideration before organizing such rallies. Even a bit of violence in these rallies can lead to no permission given to anti Mohun Bagan rallies in the future. Yesterday there was an altercation during the candlelight vigil and everyone got so intensely worried that they will be branded as violence mongers. The entire group at once got busy trying to placate those involved in the altercation.

What makes you think Saturday is not a work day. Weekends in America have more work now. Yes you have school off but I still have a job and functions to keep up with. And standardize tests.

Ya, I missed some words there.
  • Truly laudable effort by handful of MB supporters. While we communicate/express our feelings thru networking site, but football being a mass sports, even in this age of tech., this is the REAL war against the tyranny of the club officials. Its only b'coz some of us are hard pressed with time and also b'coz of occupational hazards, we cannot join these guys. But we must continue supporting and backing them to the hilt, instead of analysing much on the lean number that has taken to the street. And yes, by waging this sort of a move, there are permissions etc. which is difficult to get.Brand Mohun Bagan is bigger than any individual and the name is synonymous with the society at large/football in India....
