Though we have lost 4 points, our ranking may not change in August , also our position in AFC rankings. Seems like there is no risk for our ranking & Pot 1 spot based on August rankings unless other teams (Tajikistan, Thailand & Philippines ) play against top football nations and gain maximum points. Below is estimated FIFA ranking in Aug and their pots in 3rd round.
As per footy rankings, Tajikistan will gain 6 positions , Thailand will lose 16 positions & Philippines lose 3 positions in ranking. As I have said earlier, Kuwait will gain points (due to Jordan games) and will be in Pot 2.
If Chinese Taipei & Indonesia qualify for next round, expecting them in Pot 3 & Pot 4 respectively. Chinese Taipei currently is Pot 2 team based on their rankings , but will lose points & rankings due to their poor form and expecting them in Pot 3. Indonesia as usual will be in Pot 4 only. Also Singapore may move to Pot 4
Baring few changes, footy rankings & wiki ranking update looks similar.
If SAFF happens and we lose a match against any team, we will lose lots of points because they are low ranked teams. Playoff finishes in October. So ranking after October FIFA week may be used
