If we lose by penalties, it is ok. Else we will be kichidi 😎 by dropping to pot3. We may get teams like Japan/Iran from Pot1, Uzbekistan from Pot2 & if it is worse, we end-up getting Indonesia/Yemen/Singapore from Pot4.

nope. Penalties are considered. After Penalty Shoot-Out, winning team gets 0.75 & losing gets 0.5 points. As we won the game, Pot2 is confirmed for us.
Not worried about FIFA Ranking. Curacao is 150 but I am sure we cannot beat them still. As long as we are competitive against teams like Lebanon and Kuwait. We should work to consistently play top 10 Asian teams. Will be fantastic if we get the OCI players added. We can instantly compete with the top 10 with confidence. Without OCI players our goal output will always remain a concern. Will only get worse after Chhetri retires next year. Our wingers are scoring from open play which was something that never happens. But we still lack a proper goal scorer. Irfan and Siva though not ready for international football. They should be included than Rahim Ali and prep them for WCQ and Asia cup!
