So what will be the impact on India? We have one team Bengaluru FC who will play in ACL Playoff and after losing there will play in AFC Cup. Other slot will be taken by Federation Cup winner in AFC Cup? So two AFC Cup slots finalised??

if BFC win Federation Cup also, then the team which came 2nd in I-League last year will qualify for I-League? East Bengal!!!!

Because their federation has concentrated on there local league instead of starting an ISL.

When you have Buriram United, a club that owned by a very well known politician and rich one at that, you can get a group stage spot as United can afford some quality players... last season they signed Jay Simpson... did not work out but they had the money.

In Vietnam you have teams like Becamex Binh Duong who are also backed by money. The federations did some good things as well but it is mainly from clubs who have money and can afford the players who can compete at that level.

Where is our big money clubs? We have some big guys by I-League standards but I will laugh if someone suggests a team for the Champions League.
