FC Pune City's principal sponsor is Fair and Handsome. Other details such as their entire support staff has been made public too on fcpunecity.com, which is the club's official website and not punecitygoals.com.
Just putting this out there because @debarghya89 is editing out anything that's put in the FCPC Wikipedia page.
USA on FOX Sports... ya... fucking bullshit. Last season they said the same and it was not even on FOX Sports 2. If anything it will be on FOX Soccer Plus but no one has that channel!
I am not specifically editing out content on FCPC page...I reverted it to a past version bcoz someone (maybe you) tampered with the current squad by arranging it positionwise, while in wiki it should be arranged numberwise..you can add any other info which is properly sourced, i have no problem with that.. Thank You
I wouldn't be interested unless I am shareholders of these two companies, or it has an impact on Indian economy. The central sponsorship news would have been a welcome news if AIFF were to get some of these income beyond the fixed amount they are getting now. All income will go to IMG-R, in front of us clapping hands in glee. Heck, even the clubs will get little.
On the whole, it is a good business venture. It is a pointer to the potential of Indian football, which the AIFF and the clubs failed to tap. On the flip side, it will usher more corporates who will fleece Indian football more and give back little. IMG-R may be in Fortune 500 soon, but will this further the cause of football? No. But then I do not expect anything from a circus which hands out foreign training stints to Rakesh Masih and Rennedy Singh and keeps back Nikhil Kadam for community awareness!
