I don't think Rehenesh could have done anything for the 1st or 2nd goals; they are shots you expect a GK NOT to save. It could certainly have been better defended by NE though.

The crowd definitely plays a part in the home matches for Kerala Blasters, though they had a helping hand from Farias today. Velez looks a lively player and took his goal well, but Bheke was easily fooled there.

I think it pointless playing Jhingan at wing back. He should displace one of the foreign centre backs, and then Vineeth can move to the right where he will be even more effective I feel. Williams can maybe play the left sided wing back role, he has the pace for it. Carvalho, Rafi and Bheke all started the game poorly but finished well. I thought Vineeth was excellent today and showed his stamina all game. But I think there is a slight problem here; the wing backs run a LOT and in this humidity and with this schedule, it will only be a matter of time before they get injured or run out of steam, and Blasters really don't have too many players to play that role. I think their recruitment was not particularly smart as they probably should have gone for specialist wing backs (Ashutosh, Chuantea as examples) if they wanted to play this system.

How bad is SA Sri Krishna the referee? Does he step onto the field with a dildo stuck up his butt? How does he get that many decisions wrong, it's almost as if he comes to a game with a pre-conceived idea that players will dive. The linesmen were poor too.

PS - A mention to @gaffertape for calling the formation and personnell of KB right a long time ago.

I guess it is due to Rehenesh during the I-League and the praise he got last ISL season (from me included). I agree he could do nothing but I do expect at least an attempt or something... I don't know how to explain it.

Thanks @The Real AG & @ArsenalFan700 ....as for Rehenesh...he could've rightly been sent off in the 1st half for the reckless "save" outside the box
He is an outfield player being used in goal, surely Lalthuammawia will replace him when he recovers from his groin strain.

Farias needs to learn how to use his resourcea better...i won't blame him as much as i will blame Santosh Guardiola !
How can he agree with his staff that Seitya is a right back ! Was at fault for goals 2 and 3
He coaches Seitya all year and knows he can't defend and better than Rehensh can catch a ball at 1st attempt.

  • Third goal by kerala blasters was a perfect finish. Goalkeeper should have anticipated that shot. Velez finish as many say was perfect. He hardly curled it to side netting,i feel he saw the goalkeeper and placed it towards the right.

I mean, remember that pass by Rehenesh last season in the I-League at home against Sporting Goa that lead to Fernandes scoring? Ya, don't think he would make a good outfield player as well :)
