So basically around $2,000,000. Okay... I can see that working for players like Maxi Rodrigues etc. but Drogba, Ronaldinho, and Eto'o will probably want more.
Either way, does not matter. A player like Rodrigues will be worth it anyway.
Not sure if anyone would care about this but since both leagues have salary caps and are basically ran the same way I thought "why not".... MLS released their roster rules today and, well, congratulations ISL, you have a bigger salary cap than the MLS. MLS only raised theirs to ~$3,500,000 while ISL is over $4,000,000. Only difference is that only ~$400,000 of the marquee player salary counts towards the salary cap while in ISL the whole salary counts.
Interesting stuff for me. We already have a higher cap than the A-League.
