Has this thread been started yet? Well, if so, sorry, if not WELCOME TO THE I-LEAGUE 2ND DIVISION!!!

This years edition will see 1 or 2 teams promoted to the I-League for the 2015-16 I-League. Aizawl, Hindustan, Kenkre, Mohammedan, PIFA, and United will once again play in the 2nd Division while Chanmari and Lonestar Kashmir FC will make their debuts.

The season starts soon so get ready guys!

Lone Star football Club to Participate in I-League

So, does anyone know who the Lonestar group are? Also, more clubs named after companies!!!! YAY!!!!!

Will AIFF allow United to participate? I thought those three clubs are banned till they meet the licensing criteria.

Banned from I-League but not banned from 2nd Division. I think Churchill Brothers refused to participate in 2nd Division as they had Court Case.
There are many people from Kashmir who are office bearers in AIFF so they promoted Lone Star FC it seems.

By the way, can anybody elaborate on Meghalaya Football politics. I believeRangdajied United is not participating in 2nd Division-that means almost end of this club. Previously Langsning also folded up despite almost qualifying for I-League. Who in Meghalaya is behind demise of two clubs Langsning and Rangdajied. First of all, I dont understand why Rangdajied was shunted out?

It surprises me every year that there are no clubs from Manipur in I-league II, in spite of having a considerably large pool of players and a good, well developed 12-team state league. Is there some corruption? Is lack of organisation or sponsors hindering further development?
