One positive point of ISL which everyone used to admit is that this league is attracting crowd and also popularizing the beautiful game in India. My question is the same thing Eb and Mb doing for years. It is because of them football is still popular in this part of India. I think it is enough contribution to Indian football. They look like a proper club in India own ground, own club tent, own mad supporters. No other clubs can satisfy this criterias. ISL is a toddler, leave them.
New Delhi: National coach, Stephen Constantine, had got embroiled in a controversy, when a senior staff member of the All India Football Federation (AIFF) accused him of misbehaviour and using abusive language.
Confirming the incident, the AIFF general secretary, Kushal Das, said both the coach and the staff member had written to him about it. "I am investigating the matter... Action would be taken if anyone is found guilty," he said.
According to sources, the staff member said he would resign if he did not receive justice and the coach strongly denied using foul and abusive language.
An eyewitness, who was present at the federation office on Thursday afternoon, said Constantine was upset that the Oman national team, set to play the World Cup qualifier against India on June 11 in Bangalore, was given the permission to train at the main venue four days before the match.
"The MoU was signed between the AIFF and the Oman federation a few days ago. It said India will host Oman four days before the encounter, while the visitors would reciprocate the same when the Indians go there for the away match," an official said.
Unaware of the development, an upset Constantine confronted the director of national teams on the issue and it soon turned into a full-blown verbal battle. "The coach's behaviour and language left a lot to be desired," said the eyewitness. "In fact, even the official should have been more careful about maintaining decorum," he added.
Sources said Das took a serious view of the incident and wanted to meet the concerned people on Friday. However, the meeting could not take place as Constantine had to leave for Calcutta.
A senior official, however, felt the coach was right to a certain extent. "For World Cup qualifiers, the coach has every right to be kept informed about the planning of the rival team's schedule during the home matches. But he could have talked to the general secretary, instead of shouting at the staff member," he said.
This is not the first time the British coach had courted controversy. There were complaints against him during his first stint as India coach 10 years ago.

Don't forget Oman would've used influence from AFC levels with Praful Patel etc. To get whatever they wanted....
SC has to realise he is a small pawn in the big game....
If he loses games in 2015...he will be sacked by Novemeber and Ashley Westwood will take over
His big bully type behaviour might work with the young player's. ..but everyone else is already starting to get a bit annoyed
