The philosophy of IFN has been greatly summed up there by @rudra. I would like to add a few things since we fear that our silence may discourage other whistle-blowers from coming up with any more articles.
First of all, the IFN Blog is no different from IFN Forum, both were principally designed to let Indian football lovers voice their concerns, opinions, joys and sorrows that come with being part of this tumultuous ride. So an article on Blog is no different from a comment on the Forum. Both are personal opinions of users for which we are not liable as long as they do not come from IFN or the authors are paid to write it. So the question of legal action goes out of the window.
We started IFN with two things in mind:
1. to create an independent platform for the Indian football fans to be able to interact and form opinion, thus influence how things work in the Indian football scene. (And we can claim that we are partly successful)
2. To provide opportunity to bloggers and the well wishers of Indian football to voice their opinion, those that will not be influenced by 'quid pro quo' system unlike current band of journalists that report Indian football.
We have never shed these responsibilities that we took on for ourselves regardless of the financial constraints and regardless of the high and mighty. At the same time we have appreciated positive efforts by the administrators and have been reasonable in our criticism.
With reference to this particular article, we have got very positive response from many people placed in the system who have certified the veracity of the facts claimed in it. The fact that it has got people talking and has exposed some of the possible loopholes in the system is something that should make all IFN members proud.
We are glad that you are with IFN. Thank you for your support.
Its a sincere thanks from a fan to both the admins Rudra and Somesh. Both have been silent and selfless servants of the Indian football for long. Thanks Mates!!
Stephen Constantine and AIFF has take one good decision
Senior team coaching staff like Assistant Coach Lee Jhonson, GK Coach Rogerio Ramos and Fitness coach Danny Deigan spend their time with Elite Academy players in Goa During non national team camp days.
This will help upcoming national teams player about what are the demands of senior team set up.
