I have seen Rogerio Ramos coach the U-19 kids in GOA , and have heard 1st hand from the GK's and others...
Whilst he is a 100 times better than Feroze who used to work with the Junior Indian GK's , and also miles better than Marcus Pacheco..... he is no where near the level of GK coaches that a National team needs...
Certainly not ideal for Junior Keepers..... , all he does is show off his ability to volley or strike the ball into the net , and then despair as to why the young kid dropped the ball or let the ball in...
Hardly any positional work , or information passed on to players...
and as for the senior team..... his quote " I prefer Subrata , because he is a bit crazy.." ...when asked why Subrata over Sandhu
I wonder what happened to Tanumoy Bose who was working closely with junior boys? I don't know much about his coaching skill but used to be a fantastic goalie and a human being during his playing days.
"On the pitch, Constantine still prefers setting his teams out in attacking formations. "I like them to press opponents and put them on the back foot. I'd rather we ask the questions than be asked," he says of his tactical approach." )
"It's the biggest warning that has come from someone so highly placed in Indian football. It's grim, it's dark and it's unsettling, especially so close to the Under-17 World Cup that India will be hosting in 2017. Constantine himself says, "I'm afraid." ..."
When the grim signals are coming from levels as high as his, there are reasons to worry.
But at least he goes down fighting...these officials need to be named and shamed. I wish the government starts looking into these sports bodies and stop paying a dime till they get their house in order.

I am afraid. I really am.
