If Gustavo is fit he is an automatic choice. Aveska is also good, at least in Indian standard. Now the rest two. One of them is a striker and other one is a defender. I see no chance for the Nigerian defender Ken unless Gustavo is in a very bad shape. Yeboah, the Ghanaian striker may be included. He was very good a few years back. It depends how well he fares now.
Okpara is also back in Indian football. Interesting to watch how good he is...... coming back from the interval.
I am at a loss going through the report on Sandesh Jhingan. He has refused to carry out required surgery on his shoulder so that he doesn't have to skip the ISL !! In this way he may go off from both the National Team and ISL. What the hell this lad is doing ! I just take pity on this young talent....how he is destroying his own career .
Sandesh Jhingan is the same story like Irfan Pathan in Indian cricket! Prioritizing IPL over Country...now he is in a dancing reality show! Sandesh following his footsteps - this guy has always seemed to have an attitudinal issue..
I think Jhingan needs to find himself an agent who won't "use him" to make a quick buck and fame. Pertinent representation would have seen him play in Europe already, but his agents' excuse was that he didn't have the "time" to attend trials he received from clubs in Turkey, Spain, Denamrk and Switzerland. Laughable. Maybe the European transfer window should be re-jiggged to fit in Jhingan's agent.
