Its a million dollar question..
But i wud like to see 2 teams frm Northeast states,as there r many talents in that region..that will boost Indian Football.
After the recent meeting with AIFF & IMG Reliance , rumors thats there might be some additional developments with regards to I-league 2011-12 :
1)Teams like Air India, O.N.G.C ,H.A.L could be relegated irrespective of their standings in the league as they have failed to meet AFC criteria.
In this case 3 teams would be promoted
2) I-league could be extended from 14 teams to 16. In which case 4 teams might be promoted.

A lot of the teams have been playing in Kolkata getting ready for I-league 2
Southern Samity playing good football under the new foreign coach, much improved from earlier on in the season.
Mohd. Sporting playing better football under their foreign coach. The new recruits have really fitted in well and this could be the year for them to make it back to the top division.
Techno Aryans & Lajong have had some good performances in the other group
Also
Sporting Club de Goa won the Abijeet Kadam tournament in Pune against other 2nd division teams.
Tough to see someone outside of these 5 qualifying for the I-league but Vasco could be the other serious contender..
How abt the North East teams? Who looks best till now? I think lajong did well in IFA shield...Sikkim United is promoting a lot but their performance is not good...however player like Bhutia, Renedy, Manju can make some difference
