Pakistan withdraws from SAFF Suzuki Cup 2015 -New doing rounds that Pakistan will not be participating in the SAFF Cup scheduled to take place in Trivandrum, Kerala in December.
Bangladeshi newspaper Daily Star had carried an article quoting SAFF General Secretary Anwarul Haque Helal yesterday.
“I received an e-mail yesterday from the PFF saying it is withdrawing the Pakistan team from the SAFF Championship,” Anwarul Haque Helal told The Daily Star of Bangladesh.
There is no official announcement on this regard yet. Also hearing that Maldives might pull out too due to the ongoing political instability in the Island nation. South Asian football is in a super mess isn't it? Not long ago FIFA suspended Nepal football chief and many players were arrested for match fixing!
