REALLY glad that my alma mater is associated with BFC. Though majority of the fans are still from the traditional footballing belts in the city but its becoming an increasing fab to catch BFC matches among the city youth and one could argue the fan size is increasing. @DX the fans of BFC are not euro converts, trust me if ileague were a little pimped up, those euro fans could capitulate BFC into places where no Indian football clubs has dreamed of. For the sake of club we need to sort this two league drama ,as promotion of ileague or the lack of it is a barrier of gaining & winning over fans through out the city.
I remember when the BFC kits came out, some said that this is what the other clubs, like East Bengal or Mohun Bagan, should do but since the kits barely change, why? Well, fine, but then what about this:
MFC owners always said that their aim had been to survive and once they see hope in I-league product will they invest heavily.. they never promised slick entertaining football
