You guys are so pessimistic that it is not even funny. Personally from watching the video I think this guy has a lot of potential. I can't say anymore than that because, well, it is a video. A youtube video could probably make even the worst players look great. Only thing about the player is that he seems like a determined player.
Another thing I took from the video was the ground. Like @souravindia said, what can you expect from that shit? If you put the Arsenal U21s on that ground then I am sure they would look like rubbish when compared to playing on an actual field.
And that is another thing. Stop with the youth comparisons. Those Salgaocar U12 kids looked better but in the end, only the hard workers survive. So many examples even from the Arsenal Academy where we had guys like Thomas Eisfleld, Jay Emmanuel-Thomas, Mark Randell, Fran Merida tipped to be the next big things but have since gone downhill while others have shown up because they worked hard.
Free Agent... reportedly training with a team either in Spain or Brazil. I assume Brazil because the Brazilian season will begin in a couple months and it would make sense for him to be a free agent if he is waiting for a club for the 2015 season.
The man circled is Mahatma Gandhi in 1913 in South Africa. Gandhiji was a Football Fan himself while living in South Africa. He was involved in setting up Indian Community Football Clubs called "Passive Resisters Soccer Club" in Durban, Johannesburg and Pretoria. In this pic, two of those teams are shown with Gandhi.
Those players looks elegant and classy !! much better than the present era ... GK is wearing gloves , which is very rare in those days !!! ... I have seen a world cup video of 1966 which most of the golies keeps with out gloves. This video is 1953 , which is very surprising .
This pic is taken at 1952 Durand Cup Finals between East Bengal and Hyderabad City olice. The guy smoking cigarette is Army General (My guess is Field Marshall Cariappa) and next to him is our First President Dr Rajendra Prasad. In those days, it was customary for President to come for Durand Cup Finals and have Tea with the two captains in Finals. The stadium is Ambedkar Stadium, Delhi.
