no i meant.. a poor managemetn means lack of commitment level from the woners of decision makers which result is club not making any progressive moves.... As bharat fc was just a new club they closed... MSC is too old and historic a club so cant be closed... they shall be lagging in national football scene with the current outlook of their decision makers...
Mohammedan Sporting missed the trick by not accepting any sponsorship from Alcohol Companies due to religious reasons. Tobacco Companies are already banned I think from sponsorships. That leaves very unstable sponsorship options. I remeber Anil Ambani also sponsoring MSC for 1 year. Due to lack of stable sponsors, they could not sign better Foreigners and survive in I-league whenever they got promoted. Once Shahrukh Khan said that he used to go to Ambedkar Stadium as a child to support MSC in Delhi Ambedkar stadium. They have support from Muslims all across India. But they never capitalised on that support. This is POOR MANAGEMENT.
@munna MSC would have got shut if they accepted alcohol company sponsors. They need young educated people at the helm. And their support base is pan Indian unlike EB and MB who are only supported by Bengali Hindus (mostly). I feel bad for MSC to be honest, its a national shame that clubs with such history and passion are rotting away due to management apathy.
I have objection precisely on their constituencies. A religion based club pre-assumes support only by the followers of the same religion, which is so retrograde idea in today's world. Only Muslims should support MSC (naturally, it is a club for them only). Which means Muslims are expected to support a Muslim club, and not venture outside of it. This is communal, and divisive of society.
This cannot go on. MSC should go. Muslims are to support MB, EB, BFC like normal Indians.
