An injury time goal by Ronald Singh helped NEROCA FC defeat Gangtok Himalayan SC in their away fixture of Eastern Conference in 2nd Division League. The match played at Palijor Stadium, Gangtok, was largely dominated by Neroca FC who made numerous attempt at goal but most of their attempts failed to disturb the opposition's net.
Dempo lost again... Seriously all the talk of them having an excellent bunch of players etc seem a whole lot of hot air....dempo of afc cup seems a long long time ago...
Gangtok Himalayan vs NEROCA : I reached the stadium 30 min before kickoff and it was a shocked at the poor response for the first home game (less than 100) , by kickoff there must have been around 1500 people in the stands may be more.........Game in the first half was crap hit and hope football NEROCA were the better team and created about 5-6 good chances which they couldn't capitalize , GHFC didn't create any thing from open play midfield was like non existent.
Second half was better as there were few instances decent build up play by both teams , creating chances but not taking them continued , until the 90th min when NEROCA scored.
as per my observation non of the teams from Eastern Conference will make it to the I-league unless Western Conference is equally bad.
