Deepaksc it is not jokes fateh Hyderabad is not hurry like bharatfc for immediate success. & we donot have state leagues like Goa or Kolkata to participate
Agree with @karenesudhakar2050 here. PIFA is a joke really. They partcipate in 2nd Division I-league just for the certificate so that they can flaunt it and attract paying football aspirants in their academy. They have no intention/capability to play I-League. Fateh guy is really serious and has a long term plan. They are here to stay. The owner took coaching license just to be able to take better decisions going forward
Fateh is needed for another reason, to give the league a pan India look. That will help in long term and also spread the game. Having said that it is also true that kenkre and pifa are complete joke.
Fateh gives opportunity to local Hyderabad players unlike the likes of BFC, Pune FC, DSK which are heavily dependent on players from Northeast. I'd give them some more time.
I believe the Fateh owner Yogesh stating that their immediate priority is not qualifying for I-league, rather than build a strong base and to move gradually up. These are guys are shrewd businessmen and would wait and watch how the footballing scenario unfolds regarding the merger of i league and isl than to blindly invest in the club (which they are quite capable of).
Fateh is not a backdoor entry team , their budget is nowhere close to filling PP pockets.Team is completely made up of young Indian players. Fateh is here to promote the game and football culture in a place where game was dead for more than 10 years due to fight between two state association bodies claiming power.
Hyderabad was once as good as good Kolkata or North east when it came to supplying NT level footballers. Right now the level of footballers is pretty low and so did the interest among people die off late.
Fateh hyderabad is like a light in the dark for the game in city. At least somebody came up with a plan to kick start something from the bottom.
I appreciate the good intentions of Fateh FC. We badly need a representative from Hyd, one of the traditional centres of Indian football. It is also nice of them to give representations to the local lads in an attempt to build a quality team and thereby revive the interest there.
But then, you have to hone your skills elsewhere, not while representing a great footballing city like Hyderabad in the national stage.Like build an academy for youngsters, try to get in some play time in the smaller invitational tournaments, or host some tournament yourself, spread the name, get a foothold in the city, and so on. When you compete in a national level league, you have got be ready to out-muscle the likes of Dempo SC, Mohammedan SC and the NE clubs.
And their owner getting into coaching is the perfect recipe of disaster. To 'understand' how to run a football club, getting coaching experience is absolutely not needed on the part of owners. Ask the Glazers . This is the potential seed for meddling in the job of future 'official' coach.
Fateh excited me. It is disappointing me. Not by its performances only, but in the way it is running itself and presenting itself.
After reading all these comments I feel Fateh FC is doing a great work to promote the beautiful game in a city where it is not popular. I wish any group from kerala to have such intentions especially in Malabar area.
