If they give ISL the status of 2nd Division or 3rd Division, then also BFC being a part of ISL can play in AFC Cup. But without any status of the league and fulfilling any criteria, ISL is outside any label not even 2nd division. So AFC cannot allow such a team in their tournament.
How long are you guys going to cling on to the ‘criteria’ argument ? Obviously these so called criteria are piece of cake for them, theyve got the money and thats all you need.
@munna219777 Just stop. Everyday we have to be reminded from you about ISL's unrecognized status and it has been increasing ever since the reports came out that it may get recognized by the AFC or that it may become the 2nd Division. Nothing is certain but something might change within the next few days, you just look like you're clinging on to something that might not be true in a few days.
We know you don't like the league, leave it at that.
As per entry manual, the slot is given to the recognised club of the member association playing a recognised league. In case of BFC joining ISL, the AFC Cup slot may go to Mohun Bagan.
Just wait. I will post the "Participating Team Agrreement" which every club has to submit to AFC in order to participate in AFC Cup or ACL.
If BFC joins ISL they will be disqualified and MB will get the slot. and even MB join ISL then east Bengal will get the slot. and even EB join ISL then Shillong Lajong will play AFC Cup.
