AIFF cannot give recognition to unrecognised league. AFC was supposed to give it.  Roadmap and development over number of years is fine concept but the legality of the unrecognised league was the question and it has not been solved.

So I-league stays the official league.

ISL is unrecognised league- No top division or 2nd division status or Super Cup slots to it.

Short term goal will be to frame the calendar in which either I-League start after ISL ends like last year or both league play simultaneously.

Few months ago, people were making fun of I-League that it is the last year of I-league, why are they holding 2nd Division, Merger this merger that, Tata this Tata that. There is no "Merger".

Yes and i also see a journalist on twitter repeatedly saying since last 1 month that the AFC Cup slot is for ISL clubs is a done deal. Now whatever AIFF decides they have no right to grant a AFC spot to ISL.

Many Balls are in many courts.

Ball no. 1 :- BFC will have to decide whether to play in circus or official I-League.

    Ball no. 2:-  Tata

Ball no 3 :-  MB and EB are still interested in ISL ?

Ball No 4 :- AIFF to decide on duration, calendar of leagues.

Now Prafoool Patel should match his words by his deeds. He must allocate 15 Nov to 15 Feb slot to I-League as this is the No 1 League, 22 Feb to 8 Mar slot to Federation Cup, 15 Mar to 31 May slot to ISL. If he can do it.......my pronams to him if he can't then xxxxxxxx.

I think things will continue as it is for 2 years more until that one city one team rule is no more valid. ISL with only group stage and 2 or 1 more teams won't take much more time to finish than what it takes now. IL after that and Fed Cup too. India's NT schedule will get affected, but clubs can be forced to release players for FIFA official friendlies and other matches. Though it is a big question if the cash-rich ISL clubs can be forced in that way or not. In short, this pathetic situation is almost sure to continue for a few more years.

He now better works as he talked ('I-league is the main league ...') and allocates weekend spots for it. also, I-league  be extended, Fed Cup not culled, Second div properly organised (home-and-away).

    And overall, show some balls.

@munna219777 Thank God you shown us 4 balls only   :p
    But seriously...
Ball 1 Bengaluru to stay in I-League
Ball 2 Tata will say 'tata bye bye' to ISL
Ball 3 Mohun Bagan & EB will focus on I-League
Ball 4 AIFF will seek permission & guidance from FSDL & then prepare & reschedule multiple times the calendar

If I were you I'd wait for things to be clear officially before getting off to AFCs Press release.
