    2 Players between an attacker & the goal to be "Onside" ?? No Sir... it is ONE defender (GK not counted) between the attacker & the goal at the time of the release of the ball by another attacker to be "Onside".

    @AKB ;
    if you don't know the rules,,,,shut the fuck up

    when an offside normally occurs , the forward is ahead of the last defender BUT not the goalkeeper...

    so if the goalkeeper is up field ( e.g. gone up for a corner ) , even if the forward is in line or behind the last defender he is offside.

    READ the rules , see where it says 2nd last defender , i.e. the GK is the last defender

    i'll wait .....

    I'm in Chennai and reading now that BFC lost is crazy but good that Aizawl won. returning leg will be equally tough but at home, against us it is difficult for them. BFC need only 1-0 thinking away goal rule applicable.

    #Peaceout #We will be marching on and on.

    We are the defending Champions.

    We win only when it matters ... See you Aizawl in Bengaluru. good to know that kickoff is at 09:30 and AIFF satisfies AKB by delaying kick off, Happy ...?

    @gaffertape Thanks for the offside coaching class.
    Just to educate myself about some rules......can you please tell me if it is an offence by the player when he is fouled, rolls over the side line & then slowly..slowly crawls inside the playing area after looking here & there & lies down to get treated ?
    I raised this point on 2nd April but did not get any reply from any one .....is it an offence or not ??

    Technically yes...it's an offence...

    Leaving or entering the field of play without referee permission is a yellow card

    @gaffertape
    Thanks.....if you remember..... this happened right infront of the referee in one key I-League match & the offending player who was already on a yellow card did this immediately after his team's lead was cut down from 2-0 to 2-1 with 7 m remaining. Since the referee did not do anything...I was wondering whether this was an offence or not. OK..got it now.

    In that case, AIFF will change the rules to deny Aizawl FC the opportunity. Some years ago, they did that to remove Churchill Brothers I think. AIFF can fail any club in AFC Regulations.
